Bring your leaves…yes, even the imperfect ones…weather can be been tough on us all…to Bachman's on Friday, July 17th and/or Saturday, July 18th for display in the Minnesota Hosta Society's Hosta Show. The actual show times are to be announced.

Competition will be good this year as perennial Sweepstakes winner, Marlene Wolinski, is expected to be back and last year’s Sweepstakes winner, Rita Gindt-Marvig is just warming up to competing. And don’t forget the serious competitors from Shades of Green! Cindy Tomashek might surprise us all! But don’t let that dissuade you if you’ve never shown leaves before – it’s easy and it’s fun –and it only takes one leaf to win. You don't have to be a pro or have the newest hosta on the block (Rita won last year with H. ‘Nakiana’!) We'll help you prepare your leaves and everyone comes home with new knowledge and satisfaction, if not a ribbon, too. |
